Employment Pass
EP Category I โ Technology Sector
Challenge
A regional technology company hired a senior product director from Germany. The ESD application had been initiated internally but returned two document queries โ one relating to the educational credential format, and one regarding the employment contract salary clause. The HR team was unfamiliar with ESD's specific requirements and sought advisory support mid-process.
Solution
We reviewed the existing application against current ESD guidelines. The credential needed translation by an authorised body, and the employment contract required a specific salary breakdown format. We coordinated both corrections, prepared the responses to the ESD queries, and resubmitted the completed package within one week.
Result
Approval received 18 days after our resubmission. The applicant started his role without further delay. Following the successful outcome, the same employer engaged us for subsequent EP applications for two additional hires.

Dependent Pass
Family Reunion โ Three Dependents, Two Countries
Challenge
An EP holder whose wife and children held Indian passports, and whose mother held a Sri Lankan passport, wanted all three to join him in Kuala Lumpur. Documents originated from two countries with different apostille requirements, and the mother's long-term social visit pass involved additional financial guarantor documentation.
Solution
We prepared separate document checklists for each applicant reflecting their specific country of origin requirements. Marriage certificate and birth certificates were apostilled via the relevant Indian authority. The mother's guarantor documentation was prepared locally and verified before submission. All three applications were submitted together.
Result
All three Dependent Passes and the Long-Term Social Visit Pass were approved within the same processing cycle. The client's family relocated within six weeks of initial engagement. Renewal management is now handled by our team annually.

MM2H
MM2H Application โ Retired Couple from Australia
Challenge
An Australian couple, both retired, had researched MM2H independently and were under the impression the financial requirements matched the pre-2021 programme criteria. Their intended fixed deposit amount fell short of the current requirement. They also had questions about how the income documentation worked for retirees drawing from superannuation.
Solution
We provided an assessment based on the current programme criteria and confirmed the correct fixed deposit amount. We then guided the income documentation approach for superannuation-sourced income, which required specific statements and a supporting letter. Medical coordination and security clearance were managed in parallel. The complete application was submitted to the One Stop Centre.
Result
Approval received approximately three months after submission. The couple's visas were endorsed, the fixed deposit was placed, and we confirmed their annual compliance obligations going forward. They relocated to Kuala Lumpur in early 2026.
